"Sisters"
![]() These are general guidelines that we expect of all "Sisters" at all times at and away from the In-Home Ministry and Community Outreach Center. A. SPIRITUAL RULES: 1. A personal, COMMITTED relationship to Jesus Christ. 2. A CHRISTIAN walk consistent with BIBLICAL guidelines, a lifestyle of HOLINESS and PURITY in the way you act, dress, and in the things you do away from, as well as at the In-Home Ministry and Community Outreach Center. 3. Daily DEVOTIONAL PRAYER LIFE, including WORSHIP, PRAYER SUPPORT for the "SISTERS", the vision of and the HARVEST of SOULS. 4. Have the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT. FOR AS THE BODY IS ONE, AND HATH MANY MEMBERS, AND ALL THE MEMBERS OF THAT ONE BODY, BEING MANY, ARE ONE BODY: SO ALSO IS CHRIST. FOR BY ONE SPIRIT ARE WE ALL BAPTIZED INTO ONE BODY, WHETHER WE BE JEWS OR GENTILES, WHETHER WE BE BOND OR FREE; AND HAVE BEEN ALL MADE TO DRINK INTO ONE SPIRIT. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 OUR RELATIONSHIP TO GOD 1. Prayer is a guide for you to have a more intimate relationship with your Heavenly Father. The study of His Word transforms your mind and lifestyle. 2. Then others will know that it is possible to change, and you will give hope to those who come to you seeking advice. When you admonish someone with the Word, you are offering guidance and consolation. 3. Walk in God's counsel, and prize His wisdom (Ps. 1;Prov. 4:7,8). People are looking for something on which they cand depend. When someone in need comes to you, you can point her to that portion in God's Word that is the answer to her problem. 4. You become victorious, trustworthy, and the one with the answer, for your heart is fixed and established on His Word (Ps. 112). 5. Once you begin delving into God's Word, you mus commit to ordering your conversation aright (Ps. 50:23). That is being a doer'of the Word. 6. Faith always has a good report. You cannot pray effectively for yourself, for someone else, or about something and then talk negatively about the matter. (Matt. 12:34-37). This is being double minded, and double- minded women receives nothing from God (James 1:6-8). IN EPHESISANS 4:29,30 Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word, nor unwholesome of worthless talk (ever) come out of your mouth; but only such (speech) as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it. And do not grieve te Holy Spirit of God, (do not offend, or vex, or sadden Him) by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God's own, secured) for the day of redemption...of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin. Reflect on these words and give them time to keep your perspective in line with God's will. Our Father has much, so very much, to say about that little member. OUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS A.THE TONGUE 1. My beloved Sisters, we should not all try to become teachers In fact teachers will be judged more strictly than others. 2. All of us do may wrong things. But if you can control your tongue, you are mature and able to control your body. 3. Put a guard over your tongue, as a bit is placed into the mouth of a horse, we can turn the horse in different directions. 4. It takes strong winds to move a large sailing ship, but the captain uses only a small rudder to make it go in any direction. 5. Our tongues are small too, and yet they brag about big things. It takes only a spark to start a forest fire! 6. The tongue is like a spark. It is an evil power that dirties the rest of the body and sets a person's entire life on fire with flames that come from hell itself. 7. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and sea creatures can be tamed and have been tamed. 8. But our tongues get out of control. They are restless and evil, and always spreading deadly poison. WORSHIP (PRAISE) Hebrews 13:15 Psalm 29:2 John 4:23,24 My beloved "Sisters", with our tongues we speak both praises and curses. We praise our Lord and Father, and we curse people who were created to be like God, and this isn't right. Can clean water and dirty water both flow from the same spring? Can a fig tree produce olives or a grapevine produce figs? Does fresh water come from a well full of salt water? TALK THE ANSWER, NOT THE PROBLEM. THE ANSWER IS IN GOD'S WORD. You must have knowledge of that Word revelation knowledge (1 Cor.2:7-16). The Holy Spirit, your Teacher, will reveal the things that have bee freely given to us by God (John 14:26). As "Sisters" intercessors, we are called to UNITY (Romans 15:5,6). May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one hear and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. UNITED PRAYER Is a mighty weapon that the Body of Christ is to use. Have the faith of God, and approach Him confidently. When you pray according to His will, He hears you. Then you know you have what you ask of Him (1 John 5:14,15) "Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded" (Heb. 10:35). Allow your spirit to pray by the Holy Spirit. Praise God for the victory now before any manifestation. Walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7). When you faith comes under pressure, don't be moved. As satan attempts to challenge you, resist him steadfastly in the faith... we are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed (2 Cor. 4:8,9). Take the sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith... letting patience have her perfect work (James 1:4), and quench satan's every fiery dart (Eph. 6:16,17). The entire substitutionary work of Christ was for you! Satan is now a defeated foe because Jesus Christ conquered him (Col. 2:14,15). Satan is overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony (Rev. 12:11). "Fight the good fight of faith" (1 Tim. 6:12). Withstand the adversary and be firm in faith against his onset...rooted, established, strong, and determined (1 Pet. 5:9). SPEAK GOD'S WORD...BODLY AND COURAGEOUSLY! Your desire my beloved "Sisters" should be to please and to bless the Father. Pray according to His Word, He joyfully hears that you...His child...are living and walking in the truth (3 John 4). How exciting to know that the prayers of the saints are forever in the throne room (Rev. 5:8). HALLELUJAH! Praise God for His Word and the limitlessness of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It belongs to every "Sister" and child of God. Therefore, run with perserverance (2 Thessalonians 3:13). the race that is set before you, looking unto Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Heb. 12:1,2). God's Word is able to build you up and give you your rightful inheritance among all God's set-apart ones.
