The Duck & the Devil There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner. As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved ! In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile, only to see his sister watching ! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing. After lunch the next day Grandma said, "Sally, let's wash the dishes." But Sally said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen." Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck ?" So Johnny did the dishes. Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper." Sally just smiled and said, "Well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help." She whispered again, "Remember the duck ?" So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help. After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's, he finally couldn't stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck. Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, "Sweetheart, I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing, but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you." Thought for the day and every day thereafter? Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... And the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.)...whatever it is...You need to know that God was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing. He has seen your whole life. He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you. The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness, He not only forgives you, but He forgets. It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved.

To my beloved sons and daughters. May our Heavenly Father God, in Christ Jesus, shower you and your life, home, family with faith, hope and the love that has been poured forth into your heart by the Holy Spirit Who has been given to you. May you keep and treasure always, our Father's Holy Word. May the love of and for our Heavenly Father and Creator be perfected and complete in you... and that perfect love casts out all fear. You are our Heavenly Father's child, and I pray you will commit to walk in the Agape kind of love. I pray you will endure long; I pray you will be patient, and kind. I pray you will never be envious and never boil over with jealousy. I pray you will not be boastful or vainglorious, and I pray you will not display yourself haughtily. I pray you will not be rude and unmannerly, and you will not act unbecomingly. I pray you will not insist on your own rights or your own ways, and not be self seeking, touchy, fretful, or resentful. I pray you will not take no account of an evil done to you and pay no attention to a suffered wrong. I pray you do not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but you will rejoice when right and truth prevail. I pray you will bear up under anything and everything that comes. I pray you will be every ready to believe the best of others. I pray your hopes are fadeless under all circumstances. I pray you will endure everything without weakening because the love of Our Father, God, in you will never fail. May you commit everywhere you go to plant seeds of love. I pray you will give thanks to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, for His unmerited favor in your life, home, and family. I pray your love abounds yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment. I pray you will approve the things that are excellent. I pray that you will be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ. I pray that you will be filled with the fruits of righteousness. I pray everywhere you go you will commit to plant seeds of love. I pray that you will thank our Heavenly Father, and Creator, for preparing hearts ahead of time to receive this love. I pray that you will know that these seeds of love will produce Divine love in the hearts to whom they are given. Heavenly Father, and Creator, I thank you that as my sons and daughters flow in the Holy Spirit guidance to love and seek wisdom, people are being blessed by my sons and daughters life and ministry. Sowing seeds of faith. Heavenly Father, and Creator, You make my sons and daughters find favor, compassion, and loving kindness with others. I pray that my sons and daughters will be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, knowing that You Heavenly Father, and Creator are on my sons and daughters side and nothing is able to separate my sons and daughters from the Heavenly Father, and Creator's love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. Bless my sons and daughters and their dwelling, as we give thanks to you Heavenly Father, and Creator, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
